Fort Lauderdale Concours 2022 Highlights
This year the Fort Lauderdale Concours was front and center at FLIBS’ (The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show) Superyacht village! For those who have visited FLIBS, you already know that Superyacht village is one of the highlights of the largest in-water boat show in the world.

Better Than A Hangar Party
The Fort Lauderdale Concours had everything that you would expect from a hangar party and more! In the center was an enclosed air-conditioned pavalion which housed a full bar, a lounge, a gaming center, as well as nooks for tasty treats.
Out back by the water was a full band, more cars, as well as some of the biggest yachts from FLIBS.
You could walk the docks at sunset, enjoy a guided tour of some of the superyachts with a glass of champagne in hand…
Or just hang out by the Ford GTs under the stars.
Submarines
In addition to cars and superyachts were superyacht toys such as Triton Submarines. Triton Submarines built the record breaking sub that took Victor Vescovo to Earth’s lowest known point on June 26, 2020 at a depth of 10,934 metres. Triton also builds recreational and commercial subs that can complement any superyacht owner.
Aircraft
Icon Aircraft was also present showcasing the ICON A5, a lightsport aircraft that you can fold up and take with you anywhere. This plane has the capabilities of landing on land or sea, and fits neatly on your luxury yacht.
Final Thoughts
The second annual Fort Lauderdale Concours in collaboration with The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was a huge success! The event had everything from cars to yachts to food & libations with live music and gaming, it even had submarines and aircraft. I guess you could say that the only thing missing was a train? Maybe we will see one next year, possibly converted into a working diner (something everyone would love)!
